Tomato plant is sad =(

Starweb9May 1, 2013

I got a tomato plant last week from Lowes. I checked the leaves and the stems and the roots and it all looked fine! Yesterday, I noticed the stem had the pale brown spots and the leaves looked as though they were munched on. I see no aphids and it doesn't quite look like early blight. It's starting to affect my green bell pepper plant and my basil and I have no idea what to do! =(

Try to catch the culprit late at night, early morning. My guess is you'll find snails or slugs.
