Runner beans dying

lantJune 14, 2010

My runner beans got to 2-3ft high and are now dying, leaves are withered and curling up. I have found a tiny white pest in the roots a millimetre long with legs and antenae. What is it? What can I do? I have grown runner bean successfully for years without any problems always rotating the crops.
