Rim Fire

isobea(10, San Diego)April 12, 2011

Hi everyone, I read somewhere that Rim Fire's fragrance is just like lilacs. Has anyone been growing this plant for a few years and found that to be true? I love that scent! But my lilacs here so close to the beach only bloom for about 3 weeks. I would love to have that fragrance all summer long. Thanks for your help,

Also JL has a rim fire that is very rounded, and their is a non JL version that has been circulating that seems to be a little different. My Rimfire rarely flowers as it like to put on inflos later in the season. As my patch is close to the ocean the inflos rarely make it. Ive had my for 7 yrs now, probably only seen blooms on it 3 x, so cant recall the scent
