Bhut palm trees!

zelicindyApril 21, 2010

We started afew Bhuts inside afew months ago. Grew great. When the reached about 6-7" we transplanted them into bigger pots. Was warm durning the day so would put them on the deck during the day. The bottom leaves fell off, and the top half remains growing good. But the poor things look like palm trees!! So when I go to put them in a bigger pot, how deep so I plant them? Seems like an awful lot of stem to bury.

I have a Bhut that I planted indoors last October and the exact same thing happened. I buried that sucker all the way up the stem and now it's doing beautifully!
