Black Eyed Susans

BalwmerBluesJune 26, 2012

I have a area of my garden that is comprised of mostly black eyed susans. They have done very well over the past six years. This year suddenly they have dried up despite a very mild and wet spring and a fairly mild early summer by Baltimore standards. I can simply pull the plant up it is so brittle. Any thoughts?
