The first looks like a bee of some sort....sorry, don't know
what it is.

The beetle?
Have you checked the website, "whats that bug" ?
You may be able to identify it there.

We've been seeing these moths around our flowers that look like a jet fighter plane. They have wings horizontal and vertical.
Can someone please identify it?

Thanks.

First is a bee, but not the common honey bee.

Second is a longhorn beetle which eats pollen as a protein source. But not to worry because it won't damage your garden. It will look for a dying or recently dead tree.

wrichard,
Your critter is called a skipper.
