What's eating my eggplant vegetables

shaftoe(8)July 18, 2014

My eggplants are producing "fruit" and something larger than bugs is eating them. I'm guessing either squirrels, rats or birds are getting at these (attaching photos).

Anyone know what is doing this and what can mitigate them?

Appears to have tooth marks from something that gnaws. Suggest you spend some time sitting 'n watching.
