Help me identify these insect eggs

JbarciaJuly 13, 2014

I found these eggs surrounding my corn. It doesn't seem to be anywhere else in my garden.

Small red rubber like balls. When popped, a red liquid pours out.

Not eggs.
A fungus-like organism "feeding" on the dead organic matter. Won't damage man, beast, or living plants.
