Another slow Saturday night, another Public Service Announcement

OK, no flaming toilets this week. Sorry.

Since most of us Northerners are nursing our starts anticipating our coming harvest, I thought I'd re-post a link to a chile flower video that was posted a year or two ago.

fiedlermeister, someone who's grown more chile varieties that most of us (except Smoke) are aware of, posted this video of his flower pictures.

If you haven't seen it yet, take a look. John is a true renaissance man. His photography and pepper skills are amazing.

Those are some beautiful blooms. Too bad they are not as big as tulips. It would be awesome to see these easily without aid. Great photography and the pictures are everlasting.

Plate sized Baccatum or Pubescens Flowers...
Screw the worlds hottest quest...go for bud size and colour.

John has a lot of amazing pics.

I picture him with his camera making his pepper porn.

Come on baby,open those petals....Just a little more....click,click click...now for your pods...Spread your leaves..just a little more...

Bruce, I don't think he needs help... Smoke sounds like he has the "photo" routine down pat.

No, not photos. I am talking about his obsession with the mating rituals of indigenous flora.

I have no problem with pepper and their sexual thing-being both male and female at the same time...
When did I say anything about Pollination,or the process there of?

Though I do get told every once in a while to go pollinate myself, which being a human, not a pepper , is impossible without surgical procedures-if even them...I don't really know...

It wasn't the sex part of peppers I was talking about.

It was breeding plants to have giant, gold speckled or purple and white buds.

Seems some one else got a woody when pollen or pollination wasn't mentioned...except in their own mind... :)

Check out some of the pics of wild and C.Baccatum or C.Pubescens buds on the net.

Simply magnificent in colour and form.
Plus most put out great tasting pods.

A lot of the different Pepper buds put a nicer looking bud/flower than lot of the common weed/flower varieties (roses,2lips etc.) of plants grown for flower looks.

I wasn't in any way referring to The size of the ship and or the motion of the ocean. LOL
