Is this an assassin bug? They're gone now, as they went away when I watered. Just want to make sure they aren't a problem

There are lots of different "assassin bugs ". Your picture is, I believe, of one kind of nymph while Ron 's link shows what are mostly Wheel Bugs....also an assassin bug.

If they have red bodies with little black bristles on their butt and black legs....they are an early assassin bug instar.

These little guys look like they are in a feeding (of each other) frenzy.!

There it is! It's zelus longines. That means it's food is other than my plant.
