tobago pepper

beechoApril 4, 2011

A package of tobago pepper seeds came with my seed order for this season and have just finished starting them. I read that they are a "seasoning" pepper but i can't find much info on them. Does anyone know what kind of heat to expect out of these? From what limited info i can find, they are either sweet in flavor and hot, or just mildly hot. No scoville rating or anything like that.

They are a low heat seasoning pepper like Trinidad Perfume and Aji Dulce.
Supprised you are having trouble finding info.

There are several different ones (Pod variations)that I've seen called Tobago Seasoning Pepper.

The Tobago Seasoning has mild heat but I have grown one called just "Tobago" that was very hot.
