lady palm

When repotting Lady Palm, can I bury the trunk up to the foilage?

I've never tried that, but I wouldn't want to. Most plants don't take kindly to having soil right up against their trunk, it usually causes problems from fungus and other pathogens.

Wasn't sure whether it would put out new roots or not. Guess I'll stick with the norm. Thanks for the answer.
