rose leaves have odd concerning pattern

MissKayle10-3-13(9)July 24, 2014

I have quite a few roses that have very odd patterns on both the leaves and at times the stems as well, does anyone have any ideas as to whether this is a disease or something else?

This is rose mosaic virus. Many different patterns on the leaves because it's caused by a complex of multiple viruses.

In most instances, rose mosaic virus is an esthetic issue and seldom affects the vigor of the plant.
