Is C star's Lemon Yellow the same as Thornton's Lemon Drop?

labland(Inland Valley CA9)June 21, 2014

I bought a Lemon Yellow from Armstrong a few years ago. It has really taken off. I originally thought it was the same as Celadine but it is so big and robust with huge leaves I am beginning to wonder if it is Thornton's Lemon Drop.

Any thoughts?

No, that looks very different in flower and stem from TLD. TLD is very compact and has fuzzy branches with a greyish tint, and the blooms have very little white on the edges.

Smells like sharp lemon, too.
