Holes bored into vegetables by pest.

descolada_virusJuly 7, 2011

I've got some hot and sweet banana peppers and tomatoes being attacked by a pest. It seems to bore a small hole into the pepper, just as they're ripening. I don't know what it is, and instead of just over-pesticiding I'd rather know whats killing them first and see if I can find a specific pesticide for that pest.

Dissect on of the affected fruits to see if there is a caterpillar inside. This would be prime time for the fruitworm to be hard at work.
