Leaning Queen Palm

lbphathead19September 9, 2012

I have a queen palm that has been in the ground for about 18 months. It is staked, and when I tried to remove the stake it was still very loose and with a good wind it would probably blow over. Any suggestions on how to get it more secure without a stake. Byt he way it is growing well and looks very healthy.

be patient.... keep the stake on for aslong as it takes to grow more roots. If it looks healthy then dont change anything.

would suspect you have something digging up the roots?? Queens usually root very easily, 6 months tops
Are you in florida?? maybe too much water??
