Jubaea?

fairfield8619(Zone 8 NW LA)September 16, 2012

I grew this from seed about 6yrs ago along with a bunch of other palms, phoenix mostly. I left them out during winter and all died except this one. Can anyone confirm that is it a Jubaea? It has stayed out every winter and even got snowed on- no damage yet. Very slow growth. I'm going to plant it finally next spring.

looks like a Jubaea to me... leaflets are a upside down 'V' in cross section as Jubaea leaves should be (opposite of Phoenix palms which have upside up 'V' leaflets in cross section).
