What the heck are theses? Aphids? mealy bugs? I thought they were pollen until I took a pic with digital macro on!

if aphids like I think, I planted dill and parsley an have attracted predators, :(

Aphids. There may be some other things there, too. What are the dark specks?

P: I guess I need to put more predator attracting herbs down. I also ordered goldenrod(attracts big eyed bugs) to deal with any lawn pests aphids/chinch, maybe the dark specks are their poo?

Aphid 'poo' comes in the form of a clear, sticky sweet liquid. Since they don't ingest solids, they don't eject solids. ;-)
