Black insect ID

I found these two guys on each of my succulents. Anyone have any ideas what it might be and if they're harmful to plants? They are small - less than 1 cm, black with what appear to be yellow stripes. They are definitely insects and not spiders.

I think they are ladybug larvae. If not, they are most likely beneficial anyway. There are probably aphids on your succulents.
