what's up with these grub worms?

domano_68September 19, 2006

For the past couple of weeks here in North Alabama, I have had 10 - 30 grub worms appearing in my garage every morning. It has recently been very dry with some rain about once a week. It also is starting to cool off. I am finding these guys almost every morning in my garage either dead in their own substance or crawling around. I'll find a few throughout the day. Any insight here would be very much appreciated. Thanks in advance as always!

An improved description will help (or a photgraph). Are they worms, or grubs, or caterpillars? I haven't noted similiar activity (also in Northern Alabama).

sounds like fly larvae from the garbage can ... without more info ... or a dead animal hiding in the garage somewhere ... ken
