The Progression - A Look Back At A Lemon Drop

tsheets(5)May 18, 2013

I was flipping through my photobucket album and thought it was interesting to look back at one particular plant I documented last year.

This is a Lemon Drop that is on it's 4th year at the time of the pics. After the Winter, the growth was long / spindly / lopsided. I decided to start over and pruned it back to the main branches. I grew this plant in a hanging basket as I had for the previous 3 seasons.

Below is the progression from the strong pruning in Early May through the end of his season in late September.

I picked plenty of peppers off this plant through several flushes.

Anyway, let's get to it.

May 5, 2012 - Day 1

May 13, 2012 - Day 9

May 20, 2012 - Day 16

July 3, 2012 - ~2 months

August 9, 2012 - ~3.5 months

September 22, 2012 - 5 months
