I've never heard of them in NE OK, but beware, they are here. I had to put one of my field dogs down because she was totally covered in quills. I researched and found that they are moving into our area and the vet said they had seen 3 other dogs with porcupine quill troubles recently.

Just an FYI for anyone in NE Ok who isn't aware.
