What corn to grow for Mexican style street corn?
Trying to replicate that wonderful corn they serve on the streets in Mexico. Chewy, flavorful, with queso, chile sauce, some sort of white sauce and lime. The corn is much tastier then the super sweet corn I buy in the store around here, although I can buy high quality sweet corn, sometimes 10 ears for a dollar.
I want something with a corny taste, but not something that taste like I need to grind it for cornmeal or feed it to the chickens.
