Palm Tree - Disease/Fungus/Rotting

maestropDecember 6, 2012

We have a palm tree in our yard that doesnt look to good. Not sure the name of the palm, but hope these photos are good enough to determine what the issue may be. It was sprayed with a copper fungicidal the other day, otherwise no other treatment has yet been done.

looks like a Trithrinax. I have no idea about the fungus. Give it some time after the copper fungicide treatment, if it doesnt get better then trash it and replace with a different palm.
