Hi everyone. I have a few pepper plants that are developing some black on the stems. It just started in the last day or so.
Any ideas? They are the cubanelles if i remember right.
Thanks in advance
That's normal. I actually went out and looked at my plants, and all of the plants that are more than a foot tall have the black areas.
Okay I wasnt sure since its my first year growing peppers.
Thanks for the quick reply!
yes the black is natural to many species but
you look like you may have aphids!
a little ivory dish soap some sesame oil and water in a spray bottle should solve the problem
hope this helps and i hope im wrong!! thanks your friend Joe
Hmmm where are you seeing Aphids?
I don't see aphids and the leaves look good. It just looks like some dirt was kicked up by rain onto the stems and leaves. Maybe that's what ajijoe saw and thought were aphids.
The black is normal to a lot of varieties. The plant looks healthy to me. :)
WHATS THAT FUSSY STUFF ON THE LEAVES???
I DONT MIND BEING WRONG
BUT WHAT IS THAT ???
LET ME KNOW
THANKS YOUR FRIEND JOE
