Need some attractive ideas for staking peas up to 3 ft tall

I am going to plant Mr. Big peas. I think they get up to 3 ft. I was wondering about an attractive way to trellis them. I have thought about the blue tee pees for the beans. But since thse can be planted a couple inches apart, I wasnt sure of the best way.

Here's what I'm doing for my climbers this year. My DH made trellis' with cattle panels from the farm supply store. We set them across the boxes to make a tunnel effect when the veggies grow across. We're planting our cukes, green beans, and butter beans on them. I really like the way they came out! BTW, pardon the mess, we just got the "bones" finished and haven't planted our boxes yet :)

Personally, I like the look of branches/twigs. Martha Stewart did a segment on one of her shows where she used, I think, black ash branches for her peas. It was gorgeous. And very easy. She just pushed them in every 8 inches or so. It's a very "country garden" look.

Thanks Susan. I would have loved to seen that segment.

I saw it "On Demand," so maybe it's still available? Or maybe they're rerunning the segment? It was about starting a spring garden. You might also check her website. I haven't looked, but she may have something there. Something about the pale green peas and the dark branches. Really lovely.
