My Aunt from Tennessee gave me some fresh seed off her tree, I thought about winter sowing them, any tips? has anyone had any luck starting them from seed?

Thanks,

Sandy

I doubt that you will have much luck growing this plant in your climate. Do you see lots of Southern Magnolias in the neighborhood? Anyway, attached is a fairly good link with some basic instructions about sowing the seed.

Seeds are viable for a relatively short time, without care.

Here is a link that might be useful: Magnolia grandiflora seed propagation
