unrooted cuttings

what would be the best way to get unrooted cuttings of coleus, snapdragon and verbena rooted and growing in 4'' pots for later on this spring?

I have never tried to root cuttings of snapdragons, but this method works great for the others. Stick the snaps in there, too!
