repotting pothos, kalanchoe longiflora and snake plant

mwezi(6)January 14, 2007

I just rearanged my home office/crafts room and realized that these plants are growing off the chain! The kalanchoe and pothos are in the same pot that was a housewarming gift I got about 3 years ago. There were other plants in the basket, but the pothos and kalanchoe are all that are left. The basket they are in can't be more than 8" in diameter. The snake plant is older, also in a small pot (6") and has grown 4 offshoots, with leaves averaging a foot long. I friend of mine wants some plants and I'm willing to give up some of my bounty. What's the best way for me to proceed? Thanks for any and all assistance.

Actually, do what you want to do, either repot or start new plants from the clippings of the pothos and kalanchoe.. divide the snake plant and give them away, its entirely up to you.. snake plants seem to like being pot bound but after 3 years its time for new soil..
