Growing Scallions

gardengaldebFebruary 25, 2007

I had some scallions that started rooting in the refirgerator. I placed them in water where the roots continued to grow. I have now transplanted them into soil in a container. What can I expect from this? Can I havest the scallions and eat them or just use them as an ornamental plant?
