white flies

bigmike36August 17, 2008

I am new at the whole gardening thing so forgive me if i ask a stupid question, but i have 2 really nice plumeria and 3 newly planted ones. On one of my mature plants i have developed a pretty bad case of the white flies. Will it hurt my plants to spray them.

thanks for you time, mike

I prefer to feed my plants worm castings and wipe off the whitefly. After a few weeks, the leaves will taste bad to the flies. I use this on my plumies and on my ten hibiscus plants. Put out a few white fly traps (yellow sticky) low on your plants and the problem will go away. Bill
