I recently cut from hydrengea, rose bush, and lilac bush. I would like to know how to get roots growing so I can plant them properly. They are from very healthy plants

Hydrangea are very easy and can be rooted in water. Lilac is not easy. The only success I have ever had with them has been through layering rather than cuttings. Roses - no experience. Good luck - Ian.
Roses are easy, but not as easy as hydrangea. Take semi hardened cuttings in early summer, use a weak hormone dip, stick into a perlite rich mix, tent with clear plastic, a 70 degree bottom heat helps. Leave only a leaf or two on each cutting. Al
