when to propogate Indian Hawthorn & Cassia Flowering Bush

dixiedirtMay 23, 2005

I want to start cuttings from the above listed plants, but I want to make sure I do it at the right time. Also, if some one could tell me the best way to propagate, that would be great. Thanks, Nicole

Hawthorn. Take cuttings of firm new growth apply 0.8% IBA (rooting hormone) stick in well drained soil & mist takes 40-100 days to root (hardwood cuttings also work in winter)
Senna. Same except use 0.2% IBA
