Is it still OK to repot this late in the year?

My plumies are all in less-than-ideal-soil. I will be getting the correct mix this Labor Day weekend. In my area, Bakersfield, CA we still have Sep and Oct with good weather for plumerias. Temps don't really get low until late November. Would it be worthwhile to repot them so they can have 2 months to grow, or just let them go dormant in their "bad" soil and wait until next spring?

once they finish flowering you can replant but use B-1 and or superthrive because with leaves still on, the plant may have some shock.

Mine have no flower, only leaves. So I'll go ahead and repot along with some B1. Thanks,
