Potentilla from cuttings

Olwas2013June 8, 2013

Hi can we propagate potentilla bush from cuttings. I am wondering whats the best way to propagate a potentilla that I have in my backyard. Could you tell me the best way to carry it out? Do we need rooting hormone? Are they easy from cuttings and how long would it take to root?
Thank You,
Olly Lynch

Yes, you can propagate Potentillas from cuttings. Now is a good time to do it by softwood cuttings.

Here is a link that might be useful: Softwood cuttings
