ken_adrian Adrian MI cold Z5

you are lucky.. that this hosta fiend happened to roll thru this forum.. instead of the hosta forum ...

hosta have a specific cold dormancy ...

as we do up here in MI with many tropicals.. you can grow them as annuals.. until they peter out ...

but generally speaking.. they need a cold dormant period ...

over in that forum.. we have a couple peeps in z9.. who can squeeze out just enough cold to make them work..

but you dont tell us where you are..
