I looked up your reference, but it contained nothing about mist system components. The most difficult to find is a timer you can set for only a few seconds of on time with a frequency of only five to ten minutes, with unlimited cycles. Al
Had the same dilema .... do I try to find something to build myself that may or may not work right when I'm finished or find something ready-built that's designed for propagation. Well, I decided to go for the DIG unit. A little bit pricey, but it also can control additional zones when my cuttings are rooted, potted up and still need watering - on a different time schedule. Works for me.
I ended up purchasing a DIG 5006ip. Unfortunately I have ran out of time to build my system.. So I will put it to work next year.
I once had a propagation system for succulents in Phoenix that I ran off a thermostat. Every time the temperature got to 85 degrees the mist came on. I think you could do this for almost any temperature.
Is it even possible to strike cuttings in this rediculous heat wave? Everyday has been 103+
