Do I need to graft my pech tree?

arvindguptaJuly 28, 2009

I have a peach tree which should be about 2-3 years old, about 4 feel tall.

It has not been grafted but very healthy tree. Do I definitely need to graft? I mean should it not give fruit on its own without grafting? What is going to be benefit of this exercise.

Please advice.

Thanks!

When you speak of grafting, you mean fuse two different species together, a root stock? Or are you simply refering to rooting cuttings or air layer?
