Help save my plant

randyloJuly 13, 2014

I live in Deep South Tx where it is hot an humid. Up until 2 weeks ago this piquin pepper plant was green, flowering and putting out peppers. I do have a PVC pipe connected to the central air water escape valve that leads right up to plant. Could I be overwatering? Leaves have started yellowing and dropping off. I have disconnected the constant water from central air but stems seem to be drying up. There is new growth at the top and base of plant is nothing but horse dung...which is not hot. Any help or suggestions is appreciated.

Yeah, start by backing off on water especially if the ground around the plant is wet.

The hotter and humider (sp?) it gets the more water comes out of the tube. Divert it elsewhere for now.
