Lavender cuttings

JonathanTaylorAugust 7, 2011

Hello, I have taken some semi-ripe cuttings of Lavender, into gritty seed compost. After 12 hours, they are already starting to look a little limp. I did not have them under a plastic bag, but the gritty compost was well watered. Any ideas why they are going limp?

They will have to be tented unless you have a mist system. They are reliable rooters but usually take at least a month, even with bottom heat. Al
