would like cuttings for crepe myrtle have a few trades of plants
Will have better luck on the plant/seed trading forum
I was so glad to see that you used the spelling 'CREPE' instead of Crape...this sounds a bit vulgar.
I have found that the tine of year in which Crepe Myrtle cuttings were taken is quite important. The literature seems to indicate that mid-spring just before leafing has begun is optimal and here in Virginia, this appears valid. The use of 3000(or greater)ppm of IBA in Talc resulted in approx. 70% rooting. Some of the more recent hybrids appear to be more difficult. Best of Luck!!!
