Weed bound garden

jbanderFebruary 3, 2012

I have a raised garden in the front yard that is weed root bound, I didn't do a thing with it the last couple of years. Before I start to bring it back to life, should I zap it with roundup first. The problem is, I tried to dig it up to take all the weed root out of it, it is so tight that I would have to get rid of all the soil in it to get rid of the root. I would be willing to do that , if it is the answer. I'm no gardener and all I can grow around here is two things and that is baby begonia and Hostas So thats all I'm going to grow

Yes, the suitability of glyphosate (sold using RoundUp and other trademarked names) depends on what kinds of weeds you have there and other details.
