Plant ID

Found this growing next to a canal in Fort Collins (late summer). Wasn't sure what it is, or where is there a good Internet spot for plant ID-ing. Thanks!

I have a couple of hybrid varieties of Verbascum, and they don't reseed at all.

Verbascum 'Southern Charm'

Verbascum 'Copper Rose'

So if you'd like to try it, but want a well behaved version, check out some of the hybrid versions on the market.
