Dark Lady--love your photos. And so many roses I never heard of before--they are lovely. Good thing for my purse that I am out of space in my garden. LOL

Here are my minor contributions to the "C" roses.

Chrysler Imperial (HT)--not the fastest re-bloomer, but what stunning blooms when she does bloom!

Cherry Parfait--not my favorite--may be giving it away--but from a distance, she does look nice.

Crimson Bouquet (HT)--I did give this one away--too much BS problem for a rose that was supposed to be disease-resistant--but I regret giving it away every time I look at the photos of her blooms!

That's all, folks. Please add your pics also. Does cheer up the New Year!

What a grand New Years surprise of all these old and new beauties.

Thank you for brightening this day.
Looking forward to the rest of the alphabet.

Where to begin? I love them all, and so many are first views for me. Carmagnole is exquisite, and Cesar shows such uniqueness--I must check them out. I loved the apricot look of Charles Darwin. Isn't he described as yellow? Crocus Rose looks like something out of a painting. I was glad to see Colette which I just planted last spring and am liking very much.
Kate, I think you better try with Crimson Bouquet again--she's a stunner. Love your Dusty Miller, too. Great background. Thanks for making this a happy day, in spite of its being about 20 degrees out at two in the afternoon. We are having a rotten cold spell right now. Diane

Here is my lone "C" photo--I must be deficient in C roses. We (Granddaughter) has some more picture taking to do. She just started taking photos of my garden last spring, so we'll have to get cracking next spring. Diane
This is Caramel Antique in a vase. I may post another cause this isn't my favorite pic of this rose.

The dark lady - I can't believe your Charles Austin. I grow mine in a pot - it's a 2 cane wonder with few blooms. I've had it for 2 years. I have a lot of roses that really put out the blooms - but Charles Austin isn't one of them. I'm going to replace it this year with a different rose. I'm very impressed with yours!!

All of the posters - which one or two roses are amazing for fragrance??

The Cs were really gorgeous roses. Thanks!!!

Marina, that Cesar is really different!

That is a great combo, Kate! I've never used dusty miller before with the roses.

What a lovely bouquet, Nana!

My "C"s.

Oh, wow, seil--you are trying to make me feel really bad about giving away Crimson Bouquet just because of a little bit of blackspot. : ( Gorgeous pic. Cherish is a lovely rose also.

Nana, I look forward to seeing more pics of Caramel Antique--very interesting looking rose, from what I can see in that pic.

What a lovely well-rounded rose Color Me Pink is, beth. I do like the two-toned shades of pink.

And Classic Beauty is a striking one also.

So many beautiful roses, so little space in my garden--alas!

Beth, Color Me Pink and Citrus Tease are so elegant in those perfect photos of yours. Is that hint of orange in CT the tease part? Diane

Diane, CITRUS TEASE is normally a good bit more coral. Actually it's a range of corals, oranges, peaches and pink.

I love that picture of Crocus Rose and Seil, is your Cinderella, Cinderella Fairy Tale or isn't there a mini by that name too? Wait I just checked hmf - there are a lot of Cinderella roses. That one is beautiful, whoever it is.

Caramel Antique - that is beautiful. I can feel a rose list starting again...

Here is Clair Matin for you.

I came across a photo of Caramel Antique that is not in a vase like my earlier post. It lasts a very long time in a bouquet, but sadly, doesn't have much scent. Diane

Beth, I like that Christopher Columbus. Once in a while I see one on the show tables.

Here are some of mine for the letter "C". The first one is the grandiflora Cherry Vanilla.

The next one is the HT Century II.

Next is the brightly colored HT Chanson.

Next is the fragrant bicolor Chantilly Lace.

Next is the OGR gallica Conditorum. This was the first time it bloomed, and the flowers lasted all of one day. It is not a vigorous grower for me.

The next one is the HT Chandos Beauty which does make an effort from time to time to look good.

The last one is Carding Mill.

I hope you like these.

WOW. I want one of each. Gorgeous C's.

My 'Colette' needs to be relocated away from the dark purple salvia and 'Cape Diamond' put there!

This is 'Centenaire de Lourdes'.
- Flouribunda
She has tiny branches, but big, blousy blooms, so her flowers tend to droop over. I rather like how she does that!

Lovely, Annie! I agree with you on Cherish, one tough cookie. I just wish she was quicker to repeat and bloomed more often.
