thin little brown worm

acting like a trapeze artist waving back and forth in the air hanging on to the edge of my pepper plant leaf. looks somewhat like a army caterpiller but way smaller and a lot lighter in color. anyone know of this. picked about seven off in 15minutes of looking. never seen them before today wish i could send pics but have trouble just posting. thx aki

what is a inch worm. does it eat pepper leaves. thx aki

A inch worm is a caterpillar that is about an inch long and acts as you describe - in this case looking for another leaf to crawl to. They also have a unique crawling style, moving one end at a time. They can chew leaves but generally aren't considered a problem.
