Kids and Plumeria....Don't Mix

dthrooopOctober 2, 2010

Okay, so my girls were riding their bikes on the patio, took the corner a little too sharply and seperated one of my plumeria from its pot and roots! What to do now? I put it back in the pot, but should I strip all the leafs or leave them on? Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

I tried to link to the photos, but they aren't coming up, so I'm providing the URLs as well:

No roots=no leaves. Strip the leaves and treat it as a cutting. You may want to use some rooting hormone on the end.

I agree, kids and plumeria don't mix. My grandson recently tried to "help" me. He cut off
The tops off 3 of my plants. Luckily they weren't any of my named varieties. I stuck them in the dirt and hope they root. One of the stumps is already sprouting a couple of branches.
