Hello. As spring bulbs start poking their heads out of the ground, I'm wondering what your favorite combinations of spring-blooming bulbs and perennials are in the Rocky Mountain region.
I have bazillions of daffodils interspersed with not enough hyacinth. The deer eat all the tulips.
First is crocus, then daffys, narcissus, grape hyacinths, star of Bethlehem. Tulips are deer lollypops.
Lauren Springer talks about some bulb/ground cover combinations in her books.
