Bulb/perennial combinations

Hello. As spring bulbs start poking their heads out of the ground, I'm wondering what your favorite combinations of spring-blooming bulbs and perennials are in the Rocky Mountain region.

I have bazillions of daffodils interspersed with not enough hyacinth. The deer eat all the tulips.

First is crocus, then daffys,narcissus, grape hyacinths, star of Bethlehem. Tulips are deer lollypops.
