Question on some varieties having thick leathery leaves

arctictropical(Z4)October 3, 2011

I've got about 50 different plummies. Basically all of my plants have your typical thin, non-shiny leaves, but I noticed that my Daisy Wilcox leaves are very thick, waxy and leathery. It almost looks like they are evergreen, similar to my Mele Pa Boman, which has Singapore as a parent. Does anyone know if Daisy Wilcox tends to keep their leaves year round or is this a true deciduous tree?

Daisy is not an evergreen and it will drop all its leaves each winter.
