Spent 3 weeks in the Philippines last month, saw some huge Plumeria trees, including this one...
Christopher, did you learn the name the Filipinos have given to this tree?
Unfortunately, no...this particular one was a huge tree on a property next to an amusement park. I had to zoom in to get the flowers.
We filipinos call plumerias as "kalachuchi". It's very common in the Philippines... but I also started growing them here in California as well... :-)
Yes, calachuchi. I saw trees about 25 feet tall in the Philippines.
You sure did see some beauties over there!!
Thanks for sharing one of the many wonderful experiences you saw over In The Philippines!! I'm sure there were many that you witnessed and many great times !!
The most beautiful of all will be home soon!!!
Thanks for sharing. ;-)
Take care ,
Thanks for your nice comments as always, Laura. I did post more photos on the Cacti and Succulent Forum, though I know you don't go over to 'the other side' very often.
Lol. " the other side".
I'll go look because of you!! One of the nice ones over there !! Lol
Thanks, my friend. I just pay no mind to the rude ones, Laura. Politeness and manners matter a lot to me, I have no time for those who think otherwise.
I agree with you!!!
That's why this is such a great group...
It's so easy to be nice.. I know how much you like C&S !!!
You are always a gentleman!!!!
Have a great night, Christopher!!,
Are you guys saying the cactus forum members are a prickly bunch?
Sorry. Couldn't help myself :)
I'm just saying, take a walk on the thorny side, if you dare.
