sources in northeast?

Hello, it has been nearly ten years since I bought any minis via catalog. Those were from a nursery in Massachusetts, north of Boston on Route 1, called Nor'east, but they aren't there any more. There seems to be a California company using the name. Same folks? Same quality? Does anyone have suggestions for any other suppliers?

I am looking for something with the growth habit of Sweet Chariot, to use in front of immature daylily plantings and between some of the ogrs. Any suggestions?

Same name, but the company is now run by Greenheart Farms. Terrific plants, they are probably the best minis around now.

You can also try (mostly exhibition-quality minis), Almost Heaven Roses and Roses Unlimited. Ashdown has a few minis too. All are on the east coast. From Canada, Palatine Roses and Pickering Nursery sell minis grafted on R. multiflora rootstock (the others sell own-root), and ship excellent plants.

You might also try some of the smaller polyanthas.

Green Ice likes to sprawl and would be a good rose in front of plantings like that. Different temps it has a tint of pink in the blooms.
